Advanced Clinical Skills Practicums

Each day will be dedicated to one of the four complement channels: sinews, luos, divergents, extraordinary vessels. We will demonstrate a treatment and each participant will have a chance to hone their diagnostic and pulse skills, practice relevant techniques, and both perform & receive a full treatment on each day.

Because of the practical nature of the course, participation is limited to 24 participants per day who must have had previous study in the channel system of that day. Practitioners and students without previous experience in these channel systems may attend and practice techniques but not full treatments.

Day 1, Sinews: pulses, needle techniques, tui na
Day 2, Luos: bleeding, plum blossom, visual inspection, pulses
Day 3, Divergents: SDS & DSD needling, vibrating pulses, treatment strategies
Day 4, Extraordinary Vessels: yuan level needling, pulses, point selection
